Yokai - 'Team Effort'

Compton, California's Yokai pairs the 2019 EP, "Reap What You Sow," with their 2022 two track "From South of The Angels" on the comp "Team Effort." The former brought hints of California bands Trash Talk and Rotting Out, but once recording with Taylor Young (God's Hate, Deadbody, Nails) for their debut LP, "Nostalgicated," Yokai found a much heavier sound which is replicated on "From South of the Angles" (also recorded and mixed by Young).
